Carroll is an asset-based, family-owned company based in Norfolk, VA, established in 1977. Our senior staff has over 40 years of transportation experience, and our professional support staff averages over 22 years. We value our customers and focus on service because we believe that is one of the most important keys to success.

Port drayage.
We pick up and deliver imports and exports within your free time: heavy, refrigerated and hazmat. Company-owned chassis and TWIC-certified drivers keep containers moving off NIT and VIG without waiting on third parties.
Transloading warehouse.
Whether it’s long-term or short-term space you need, our transloading warehouse can hold it. 180K sq ft under roof plus covered outside storage for floor-load, palletized, rolled paper and project cargo.
Transportation to final destination.
No matter how far the freight has to go, we ship intermodal or over the road, coordinate the moves and confirm delivery: one point of contact from the terminal to the receiver’s door.
